This instrumental song is a tribute to the character Katniss Everdeen of the Hunger Games films.

In a case of life imitating art (or predictive programming), we live in a world with a real- life President Snow. And the districts are rising up.

Originally recorded and released in late 2023, this new version has been re made from the ground up. Sound wise, elements as diverse as Neil Young, Queen, U2 and Powderfinger can be heard.

The song begins and ends with dynamic layers of textured and punchy rock, reminiscent of the 70’s and 80's. There are also quieter spots to give the track space for contemplation. This allows the listener to connect to both a sense of power and urgency, as well as thoughtful and decisive action.
